About the Role
Martio is seeking a dedicated and results-driven Supermarket Store Manager to lead daily retail operations across our partner supermarkets in Italy. The successful candidate will manage store teams, maintain high operational standards, and deliver an outstanding shopping experience for customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily supermarket operations.
- Lead, train, and supervise store employees.
- Monitor inventory and coordinate stock replenishment.
- Ensure excellent customer service.
- Maintain merchandising and product display standards.
- Prepare staff schedules and manage attendance.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and workplace regulations.
- Monitor sales performance and achieve business targets.
- Resolve customer concerns professionally.
- Coordinate with regional management to improve store performance.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of supermarket or retail management experience.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Knowledge of inventory management and retail operations.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends.
- Basic computer and reporting skills.
- English communication required. Italian language skills are an advantage.
