About the Role
Martio is seeking a dedicated Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in overseeing daily supermarket operations and ensuring a smooth shopping experience. You will help lead the team, maintain inventory, achieve sales targets, and deliver excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Store Manager with daily store operations.
- Supervise and support store staff during shifts.
- Ensure excellent customer service at all times.
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate replenishment.
- Help achieve sales and operational targets.
- Resolve customer concerns professionally.
- Maintain store cleanliness, safety, and merchandising standards.
- Assist with staff training and performance monitoring.
- Prepare daily operational reports when required.
- Ensure company policies and procedures are followed.
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree.
- 2–3 years of retail or supermarket experience.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Good organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- English communication required. Italian language skills are an advantage.
