About the Role
Martio is looking for friendly and reliable Cashiers to provide excellent customer service while handling transactions accurately and efficiently. You will play an important role in creating a smooth and positive shopping experience for customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers with a friendly attitude.
- Process cash, card, and digital payments accurately.
- Issue receipts and maintain accurate transaction records.
- Assist customers with billing inquiries.
- Balance the cash register at the end of each shift.
- Keep the checkout area clean and organized.
- Follow company policies and cash handling procedures.
- Support team members during busy hours.
- Report any payment or system issues to supervisors.
- Deliver excellent customer service at all times.
Requirements
- High School Diploma (10th/12th Pass) or equivalent.
- Freshers are encouraged to apply; previous cashier experience is an advantage.
- Basic math and computer skills.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.
- English communication required. Italian language skills are an advantage.
