About the Role
Martio is looking for an experienced Department Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of a specific supermarket department. You will lead team members, maintain merchandising standards, monitor inventory, and ensure excellent customer service while achieving departmental goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily operations within the assigned department.
- Lead, train, and motivate department staff.
- Ensure shelves are fully stocked and well-organized.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate stock replenishment.
- Deliver excellent customer service and resolve customer concerns.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards.
- Monitor department sales performance and productivity.
- Prepare daily reports and communicate with store management.
- Maintain cleanliness and visual merchandising standards.
- Support promotional activities and seasonal displays.
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree.
- 2–4 years of retail or supermarket experience.
- Previous supervisory experience is preferred.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Good organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- English communication required. Italian language skills are an advantage.
